BrokerWare Release Notes 07/09/2026

New Features & Enhancements

EDI Failed Tender Notifications

  • Added the ability to send real-time email notifications to designated email addresses whenever an inbound EDI tender (such as an EDI 204 dispatch) fails.
  • Includes an audit log/notes section that tracks configuration changes, allowing users to see exactly who added or removed specific email addresses from the notification list.

Shipment Uploader

  • Added 2 new columns to the Shipment Uploader template:
    • Shipments Tab: "TrailerNumber"
    • Commodity Tab: "SealNumber"
  • Please download the latest template to use these new additions.

Address Book

  • Enhanced user efficiency and search precision by adding granular, per-column filtering across all address book grids and selection tools, aligning them with existing tile list behaviors.

Mapping Dynamic Accessorials

  • Added the ability to configure dynamic accessorials returned from carrier APIs to an accessorial in the system to allow users to control markups centrally while still displaying the original carrier-specified accessorial name.
  • This can be done in a carrier's profile via Accessorial Setup.
    • Click Add Mapping to open the Edit Carrier Accessorial Mapping modal.
    • Choose an accessorial in the Rated as Description.
    • Enter the Carrier Charge Names (can add multiple variances) and save.
  • Users can then add these mapped accessorials to tariffs to markup specifically outside of the base markup.
  • Configuring Carrier Accessorial Mapping Dynamic Surcharges

EDI 214s

  • Updated the EDI 214 status tracking template.
    • The N104 element within the Bill-To (BT) loop qualifier is now dynamically sourced from the Customer Preference Bill To Code, ensuring proper location and customer tracking mapping alignment.

Report Builder

  • Added new fields for shipment type reports called "AP Ready to Invoice" and "AR Ready to Invoice".
  • Added new field for shipment type reports called "Delivery Number".
  • Expanded the Report Builder functionality to include specific appointment data points for origin (shipper) and destination (receiver) locations, pulling directly from the Shipment Profile.
    • These fields are only visible in the Report Builder when Appointment Management is enabled for the client.
  • Added new field for shipment type reports called "Customer Charge Markup Freight Charge" which becomes available once the "Customer Charge Markup" preference is enabled on any customer profile and will persist in Report Builder even if the preference is subsequently disabled across profiles.

EDI Backup Document Naming

  • Added support for the [[InvoiceDate]] token in the EDI backup document naming convention configurations.
  • This allows customers to dynamically include the full invoice date (formatted consistently as a 4-digit year, e.g., 2026) within their extracted backup filenames, ensuring perfect alignment with their standard file-naming structures.

Advanced Shipment Booking - Hide Quote

  • Added a new global configuration setting that allows organizations to hide the "Save Quote & View" button from customer access level users.
  • This restriction applies strictly to LTL shipment mode and is only hidden on the short and full shipment forms (the button remains visible on the shipment profile).
  • This setting is dependent on the parent configuration. If Advanced Booking is disabled, this sub-setting automatically cascades off and takes no effect.

Reference # on Customer Invoice and Rate Con Documents

  • Carrier Rate Confirmation: The load Reference # field is now automatically mapped and displayed on the Carrier Rate Confirmation document to improve carrier visibility and prevent shipment misidentification.
  • Customer Invoice Preference Flag: Added a new configurable invoice preference called "Show Reference # On Invoice" to control the visibility of the Reference # field on customer invoices.
    • When Enabled: The Reference # will be displayed on both standard customer invoices and invoices processed via the Invoice Printing service.

Customer Profile charts

  • Applied an improvement to the Customer Profile dashboard so that applied view filters—specifically the Load Created Date Range and Filter by Pickup Date Range on shipment charts—are now temporarily persisted.
  • With this update, the selected date range filters remain intact when navigating back to the customer profile. The filters will only reset back to the default 30-day view if the user leaves the customer profile entirely.

Carrier List

  • Added a search field for the Division column.

Advanced Required Fields - Short Form

  • Enhanced the Advanced Required Fields setup by introducing configuration options tailored specifically for Short Forms, allowing users to manage required validation rules independently between short and full form layouts.
  • Not Specified (Default): Applies validation rules across both the Short Form and Full Form views seamlessly.
    • Short Form: Dynamically shifts the configuration page to display only relevant fields matching the actual Short Form layout, allowing targeted field rules.
    • Full Form: Restricts specified required field validations exclusively to the Full Form layout.

System Notes

  • Improved the auditability of system generated notes to capture changes made within the Customer Preferences, Customer Invoice Preferences, Carrier Profiles, and Tariffs.
  • These are now automatically stamped into the respective customer's or carrier's notes.

Lane History

  • Upgraded the Lane History global tool to allow users to select multiple equipment types simultaneously when running a search.
  • This mirrors the existing multi-selection functionality available for shipping modes, providing more flexible and comprehensive filtering.

Custom Reference Fields

  • Improved the visibility of the check box icon on several system themes to make it darker to stand out against the background.

Unit Type

  • Added "Reels" as an available option in the informational package/unit type dropdown menu. This new unit type will accurately carry over and display on the Bill of Lading (BOL).

Shipment Notifications

  • Added the Customer Name to the subject line and body of email notifications sent from the system.

Dispute Log

  • Added the ability to schedule and automatically send Dispute Log Excel reports.
  • Users can now filter schedules by specific groups or sales representatives.
  • Support added for creating and managing multiple report schedules.
  • Dispute Log Report Scheduler

Division Class Code for QuickBooks Online & Desktop

  • Added the ability to map and sync custom accounting classes based on the customer's division for both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). This functionality mirrors the existing setup used for staff offices.
  • A new Division Class management page is available under the Staff menu (visible when "Divisions" are enabled in the environment).
  • Division Class - QBO & QBD

Merge Customer Disclaimer

  • Enhanced the "Merge Customer" operation tool by adding an irreversible action disclaimer directly to the initial confirmation dialog box.
    • When users select and attempt to merge customers, they will now see a clear, high-visibility warning stating that the action cannot be undone, preventing accidental or irreversible data merges.
    • The warning message states: "WARNING: This action is irreversible, once the customers are merged, this cannot be undone. Click Ok to proceed or cancel."

Master Accounts

  • Added the Export to Excel button to the Master Tracking report interface on a master account profile.

Load Number Barcode Label

  • Added the ability to generate a dedicated "load barcode" label as a PDF document using the load number format as the document name. Previously, this barcode was only generated on the Bill of Lading (BOL) when a carrier was assigned.
  • This can be enabled via customer preference using "Enable Load Number Barcode only label".
  • Load Number Barcode Label

EDI Setup - Custom Fields

  • Improved clarity within the EDI template tool by adding "Customer" as a label next to custom reference fields that are tied directly to a customer profile.
  • Resolved an issue where customer-specific custom references were not appearing or functioning correctly within the 210 tool.

Staff Permission - Reverse AP Invoice

  • Introduced a new staff permission under the Accounting section to control visibility and access to the "Reverse" button in the Charge Summary.

Carrier Rating Performance

  • Introduced the Carrier Rating Performance monitoring tools within the System Status dashboard to log, track, and diagnose carrier API response performance and latency issues.
  • This report will capture carrier API metrics to specifically track when transaction response times exceed specified thresholds based on either the global LCR timeout default or the LCR timeout value configured in a customer's profile preferences.

Customer Profile - Load Maps

  • Added informative tooltips to the headers of the Loads by Origin map, Loads by Destination map, and Shipment History chart on the Customer Profile page.
  • These tooltips clarify to users that the displayed data counts and views exclusively reflect shipments that are in a Booked status or greater.

EDI 214 Matching

  • Added Export to Excel button to export the results from this page.
  • Added new functionality to allow users to update progress statuses in bulk. Users can now select multiple entries simultaneously and apply status changes via a bulk action dropdown/modal, eliminating the need to update records individually.

AP Audit - Reorder Columns

  • Users can now customize their view on the AP Audit list screen by dragging and dropping columns to reorder them according to their workflow preferences.
  • If you reorder columns and navigate away without saving, the grid will automatically revert to its default layout upon your next visit.
  • Column layout preferences are saved individually per user and will not impact other users' grid configurations.
  • A dedicated Reset action has been added, allowing you to instantly revert back to the original default layout without needing to manually rearrange or save.

AP Audit - Discount Editing

  • Users can now edit the discount value on the Carrier Quote side of the AP Audit Reconcile screen using a new dropdown to switch between a Flat Rate or Percentage (previously limited to percentage only).

Hide "Group" field from Customer Logins

  • The "Group" indication in the Customer section will now be hidden from customer logins.

Tariff Lane Matching - Width & Height criteria

  • Added two separate, distinct lane-matching criteria for Width and Height across all tariffs (joining the existing length criteria).
  • The rating engine now evaluates these dimensions against the commodities in a shipment. In cases where multiple commodities are present, the system automatically matches based on the commodity with the greatest width or height.

BOL Template 2

  • Added the "Contract #" field to the system-generated Bill of Lading (BOL) document (Template 2).
  • Updated the Bill of Lading (BOL) Template 2 to automatically filter out and hide specific carrier-returned administrative and compliance charges from the Services section. This ensures cleaner documentation for customers.
    • Currently, any charge containing the phrase"CALIFORNIA COMPLIANCE", 3PL LINEHAUL FEE, ADDITIONAL LINEHAUL FEE will be excluded from the BOL Template 2 layout.

New Reference Field - Sales Order

  • Added a new reference field called Sales Order # to the shipment profile and full form load creation pages.
  • This field will appear on the customer Invoice and BOL Template 2 document.
  • New field is also searchable in Report Builder via shipment type report.
  • The character limit to this field is 100 characters or less.

Create Customer Contacts Without User Accounts

  • Introduced the ability to add customer contacts to the system without requiring the creation of a full user login account. This streamlines contact management for users who only need to receive documentation or notifications.
    • Non-Login Contact Option: Added a new toggle/checkbox when creating a contact. Leaving it checked creates a standard login user; unchecking it creates a non-login contact. To secure access points, this setting is permanently locked once saved.
    • Shared Contact Duplication ("Copy" Method): When creating a non-login contact, entering an existing email address allows users to pull and copy shared contact details (name, address, and phone number) across multiple customer profiles. This removes the need for master accounts to share contact details across linked profiles.
  • Non-login contacts are fully integrated into the "Select Contact" dropdowns, allowing users to select and email documents to them normally.
  • Report Builder: Added an Account field to the Contacts section within the Customer Type report builder. This field displays whether a contact is a "Login User" or "Non-Login Contact," supports full search/filtering functionality, and automatically filters out blank entries to keep reports clean.

CSRs - Denied CSRs

  • Updated the Customer Service Representative (CSR) Denial email notifications to include both the Division Name and Station/Division ID. This provides clearer context regarding the source of the denial directly within the automated notification.

Multi-Stop UI

  • The commodity stop/multi-stop selection interface now dynamically displays based on the shipment type to reduce clutter on standard loads.
    • Single-Stop Shipments: Commodity multi-stop fields and options are automatically hidden for standard single-stop LTL shipments where they serve no purpose.
    • Multi-Stop Shipments: The feature continues to display normally, ensuring existing multi-stop commodity assignment logic remains completely unaffected.

Carrier Integrations Audit Log

  • Added a comprehensive audit log to track all activities on the Carrier Integrations page. This resolves common inquiries regarding configuration history by providing clear visibility into system changes.
  • This will track the following activities:
    • Logs enable and disable actions for every carrier integration.
    • Tracks all configuration edits and modifications.
    • Accessible via a new dedicated notes button on the interface.
    • Includes a scrollable log interface to capture multiple entries smoothly within a single save action.

Admin Tools - Load and Drop Point

  • Introduced a tool, "Load and Drop Point Values," located under the Admin Tools menu. This tool automates the generation of unique location reference codes (Load and Drop points) for empty entries in both Customer and Global Address Books.
  • Clicking "Generate Missing Load and Drop Points" dynamically creates and saves unique identifier strings for address book entries where these fields are currently NULL or empty. Existing pre-populated values will not be overridden.
    • Global Address Book entries format: Gxxxxxxxx (starting from index 10000001).
    • Customer Address Book entries format: Cxxxxxxxx (starting from index 10000001).
  • Access is restricted via a new staff permission setting: "Address Load/Drop Point Tool." This feature is disabled by default for all users.
  • Users are able to select and exclude specfific customers from automated generation process entirely.
  • Generate Load and Drop Point Values

Partner Integrations

Highway

  • Added a direct hyperlink text called "Highway Config Page" within the Highway integration setup.
    • The link automatically appears in real-time when Configure Updates is set to Yes/Enabled (without requiring the user to save first). Clicking the link opens the Highway Config Page in a new browser tab.
  • Integrated additional safety validation fields from the Highway onboarding packet directly into the Hyperion Carrier Profile safety section.
    • Is Hazmat Certified: Now automatically maps to YES when the data payload returns "hazmat": true.
    • HazMat Expiration Date: Automatically maps and populates using the hazmat_end date from the onboarding packet.

Highway - TFX

  • Implemented integration leveraging the shared LoadLock create/update endpoint to support automatic and manual load posting.
  • The "Enable TFX" option is only displayed when "Use Load Lock" is active. Enabling TFX will lock the "Use Load Lock" setting to "Yes" to prevent conflicting configurations.
  • Automated Load Posting: Shipments in Booked/Awarded status will now automatically post to TFX if requirements are met (including when moving a shipment from Quote to Booked status).
  • Equipment Type Mapping: Added a new configuration page under Admin Tools > Equipment Types to map internal classifications to standard TFX equipment types.
  • Carrier Status Sync:
    • Assigning a carrier automatically updates the TFX status to Covered and disables further posting.
    • Removing a carrier reverts the status to Available, clears carrier details, and re-enables active posting.
  • Do Not Track Configuration: Added a new setting to configure the tracking status when TFX is enabled.
    • false (Default): Continues to send the tracking value as false.
    • true: Sends the payload field load.do_not_track as true.
  • Send Target Rate Configuration: Added the ability to toggle whether target rates are shared in the payload.
    • true (Default): Continues to send the target rate (min_rate) value in the payload.
    • false: Omits or sends the min_rate property as null in the payload.
  • Highway TFX

PC Miler

  • Added a new integration setting called "Send Full Address to PC Miler" to control whether full street addresses or ZIP codes only are sent to PC Miler for mileage calculations.
    • This resolves licensing and geocoding errors for customers who do not have street-level routing included in their PC Miler subscriptions, while preserving advanced routing capabilities for those who do.
    • When enabled, the system sends full shipper and consignee street addresses when available, supporting street-level geocoding and handling PO Box ZIP code workarounds.
    • This can be enabled on the PC Miler and PC Miler Per-Customer integration setup.

Macropoint Alert Changes

  • Added an icon legend for MacroPoint tracking alerts to both the In-Transit and Confirm Pickup tiles.
    • The legend includes entries for:
      • Behind Schedule (MacroPoint Alert)
      • Cannot Make It (MacroPoint Alert)
      • Past Appointment (MacroPoint Alert)
  • The legend is configured to persist dynamically across all filters as long as the Schedule Alert Updates feature is enabled in partner integrations.
  • Clicking on individual legend icons now filters the load lists accordingly.

Carrier Integrations

Forward Air

  • Added Guaranteed Rates.

Old Dominion Freight Lines

  • Mapped the BOL instructions to the InstructionComment field for E-Dispatch requests.

Priority One

  • Updated the logic upon E-Dispatching to Priority One to ensure the original, user-entered Reference # remains unchanged.
    • Carrier-assigned numbers (Pickup #, PRO #, and BOL #) will continue to populate their respective, designated fields without affecting the reference field.

SEKO

  • Implemented XML special character escaping across all quote request fields.
  • Added local validation to catch and reject invalid or malformed requests before transmitting them to the carrier API.
  • Added defined request timeout limits to prevent long-running connections.
  • Optimized the rating cycle to block repeated processing of known failed requests.
  • Enhanced diagnostic logging around failed quote requests to streamline future troubleshooting.

AM Home Delivery

  • Added support for AM Home Delivery’s FURN60WG White Glove service level.

Speedy

  • Updated the "Need Help" section for the Speedy carrier configuration.
    • Added an explicit note clarifying that all commodity pieces must pass as pallets. Users should only enter the piece count as the pallet count, as Speedy's rating request API does not accept individual piece counts.

Pilot Freight

  • Delivery Receipt (POD) documents can now be received automatically and attached to the matching shipment, making them visible to customers.
  • Please contact your Pilot representative to set up the webhook subscription for each account whose PODs you need.

FragilePak

  • Updated the FragilePak E-Dispatch integration to automatically include carton and unit count information (handlingUnit) within the dispatch payload when available.

CH Robinson

  • Implemented the E-Dispatching function.
  • Implemented API tracking.

Bug Fixes

A Duie Pyle

  • Fixed API tracking issue where PRO Numbers and tracking updates were not being received to update shipments.

WWEX

  • Fixed issue where PRO numbers were failing to return via API.

CH Robinson

  • Fixed accessorial mapping issue for Residential Pickup and Delivery.

Estes Express

  • Fixed E-Dispatching issue where the state province for Quebec was being passed incorrectly. The corrected value is PQ.
  • Fixed E-Dispatching issue where the Address 2 line was not being included in the pickup request.

Haulistic

  • Fixed E-Dispatching issue where the GLO# was not mapped properly on return. This will now be mapped to the Reference # field on the shipment profile.

Pitt Ohio

  • Fixed rating issue where the Insurance accessorial was mapped incorrectly causing the carrier to fail.

ECHO Global

  • Fixed issue where E-Docs were not pulling back via API.

Priority One

  • Fixed accessorial mapping issue for Limited Access Pickup & Delivery for several carriers.

Estimated Delivery Date

  • Fixed issue where users were able to update the Estimated Delivery Date in the Confirm Pickup modal; this action has been removed.

Shipment Profile

  • Fixed issue where headers from a previous page were displaying on the current page being viewed.

Credit Memos

  • Fixed issue where credit memos were not properly reflecting in the closed file, leading to a balance mismatch. This applies to systems using Workflows.

TriumphPay

  • Fixed an issue where invoices approved in TriumphPay for a specific amount were feeding over to user's system as $0.
    • Invoices will now feed for the full amount approved in TriumphPay; if there is a discrepancy with the expected carrier rate, the invoice will correctly route to the user's system's audit queue.

Single Accessorial Setup

  • Fixed issue where the Limited Access accessorial was appearing twice in the rate breakdown on the LCR.

Customer Profile - Third Party Integrations

  • Fixed issue where the Third Party Integrations link was only visible if a user's system had the Oracle integration enabled. This now decouples the Third Party Integration tool's visibility so it is now accessible to all sites regardless of whether Oracle is enabled. Specific Oracle fields will remain hidden unless Oracle integration is turned on.

P44

  • Fixed issue where the system was sending the incorrect country code for Mexico.
  • Fixed missing equipment identifier.

Customer Statement

  • Fixed issue where the Aging column was incorrectly reflecting the total days of invoices. This now correctly displays the aging days of the oldest open invoice.

Report Builder

  • Fixed issue where the filter "Last 7 Days" was not properly producing results.

ClassIT+

  • Fixed display issue in the "Brokerware" theme where text/links in the ClassIT+ product search popover were difficult to read against the background, correcting font colors and matching the gray popover styling universally.

Customer Address Book

  • Fixed issue where the customer address book Excel export displayed the raw UTC timestamp instead of the reflected time format displayed in the UI.

Dispute Log

  • Fixed issue where clearing the Pickup Date filter via the date picker visually removed the value but failed to correctly reset or refresh the grid payload. The grid now consistently and accurately updates to show the unfiltered dataset when the filter is cleared.

Customer Profile - Credit Terms

  • Fixed issue where updating a customer's credit terms inside the Credit Information modal continued to display the previous values upon reopening the modal within the same browsing session. The modal now correctly refreshes and displays the latest saved credit terms immediately without requiring a full page refresh.

DAT Rateview

  • Fixed issue where users were unable to retrieve a Market Rate due to the equipment "Van" not being recognized as a valid DAT equipment type.

Customer Profile - Load Maps

  • Fixed issue where users without the "View All Shipments" permission could still see aggregate shipment volume and geographic activity via the Loads By Origin and Loads By Destination map widgets on the Customer Profile page.
    • The map visualizations now strictly honor shipment-level permissions and filter data appropriately.

Lost Opportunity Report

  • Fixed issue where the report was incorrectly flagging certain shipments when the selected carrier was already the lowest-priced option available at the time.

Tariff Markup tariff

  • Fixed issue where fuel surcharge markups were not being applied properly to custom-built Tariff Markup Tariffs and corrected the logic so that the designated markup percentage is accurately applied to carrier fuel accessorial charges when rendering rates.

Tables overlapping text

  • Fixed issue where text was overlapping and affecting several tables within the Mass Rater Transaction page and System Alerts page.

Bill To Entries

  • Fixed issue where the correct "Bill To" information for CSP Custom Tariffs were not properly populating and fallback rules were failing.
    • Implemented a functioning fallback mechanism so that if no "Bill To" entry exists on the carrier charge tariff, it correctly pulls from the Customer Charge Tariff.
  • Fixed issue where customer logins had the ability to edit Remit To addresses entries on shipment profiles.

RMIS

  • Fixed issue where Canadian carriers being onboarded were not pulling back into the Onboarding list because of the lack of a US DOT or MC Number.
    • Updated the RMIS integration logic to properly process and display Canadian carriers that do not possess a standard US DOT or MC number, ensuring they successfully appear in the Brokerware onboarding list.

Send Docs

  • Fixed issue where the Send Docs in a customer's profile was failing to pull and attach all open invoices for the account when "Add Open Invoices" was initiated.

Dashboard

  • Fixed issue where the Macropoint Alert Changes counter did not correctly display the amount of loads in that filter.

Divisions

  • Fixed issue where staff members assigned to lower-level divisions could view and modify configuration settings for all divisions (including master/higher-level divisions) within the Admin Tools.

EDI 210 Matching

  • Fixed issue where EDI 210 invoices that were failing prior to validation will now be dynamically set to a non-terminal Partial status instead of getting stuck or incorrectly marking as a successful Match.
    • Added specific FailedMatchReasonCode and FailedMatchMessage fields to the 210 grid queue. This gives users immediate, clear context on why an invoice deferred (e.g., duplicate/secondary invoice flags) so they can correct the underlying blocker.

Dispatcher Field on Shipments

  • Fixed issue where the Dispatcher field failed to update when a carrier was re-dispatched by a different user. The system now accurately updates to display the current dispatcher while preserving the original dispatcher under a separate First Dispatcher indication.

Global API Tariff

  • Fixed issue where carrier rates were incorrectly returning in the LCR despite being explicitly excluded via global tariff service lane rules.

Global API Tariff

  • Fixed issue on the secondary AP invoice approval screen where the Balance Due Amount field was incorrectly pre-populating an amount and the Create Secondary Invoice checkbox was automatically checked.
    • The Balance Due Amount field will now remain blank by default for a new approval. Added input validation and error flags to prevent users from proceeding with blank, zero, or negative values, ensuring a valid amount greater than zero is entered before navigating forward.
