BrokerWare Release Notes 09/24/2026
New Features & Enhancements
EDI 210s - AP Audit (Workflows)
- All successfully matched EDI 210 invoices are now automatically routed into the AP Audit workflow to evaluate for new, supplemental, or duplicate status.
- Invoices identified as duplicates (matching Carrier, Invoice Number, Invoice Date, and Invoice Total) are automatically deleted without entering AP Audit, attaching to loads, appearing in unmatched queues, or requiring manual action.
- Enhanced processing logic to attach and route supplemental invoices correctly while maintaining existing primary versus secondary invoice separation.
Show Cargo Liability Total on Rating Screen
- Added a new system setting, "Show Cargo Liability Total Calculation on Rating Screen" as a global default, allowing administrators to control whether total cargo liability calculations are displayed on the rating screen.
- When set to ON (default state), calculated total cargo liability values appear alongside per-pound rates. When toggled OFF, total calculations are hidden, displaying only the liability per pound.
Bug Fixes
Global Search
- Optimized database queries for Customer Address Book lookup, Global Address Book lookup, and Load Number search to significantly reduce server response times and database CPU utilization.
- Updated PO reference and PRO number search paths to leverage database indexing more effectively.
Cubic Feet Calculation
- Fixed an issue where total cubic feet failed to automatically update when adding or editing multiple commodity lines (including palletized lines) during load creation or shipment updates.
- Resolved duplicate and unformatted tooltips across full-form shipment views and commodity edit modals, unifying them into a single blue hover tooltip.
AP Audit (Workflows)
- Resolved an issue on the AP Audit page where the bottom horizontal scrollbar would get stuck or fail to scroll back to the left after scrolling all the way to the right.
- Corrected a typographical error in the AP Audit invoice and quote screens where the Quantifier column header was mislabeled as "Quatifier".
- Resolved an issue where receiving duplicate EDI 210 transmissions or updated shipment costs caused duplicate entries to appear in the AP Audit screen. The AP Audit screen will now display only a single entry per invoice/load for approval, preventing redundant line items regardless of subsequent EDI updates or cost adjustments.
Moran Transportation
- Resolved an API data-mapping issue where shipment processing incorrectly assigned the Moran pickup number into the PRO number field within the shipment profile. The tracking fallback logic has been updated to correctly place pickup numbers into the intended field.
EDI
- Fixed an issue where batched EDI transactions generated duplicate control numbers. The EDI Generator Template/Tool now correctly increments unique control numbers across batched files.
Averitt Express
- When Limited Access Delivery was selected, the Averitt Express Dynamic Pricing rate request failed to pass the required accessorial code, returning rates without applicable delivery charges. Updated the integration to pass the LTDAD accessorial code in the accessorials.codes array for Averitt Dynamic Pricing requests, ensuring accurate rate quotes and accessorial fee inclusions.
Disputes
- Resolved an issue where running rates and attempting to update carrier rates on a shipment with an active dispute (and status set to In Transit) resulted in an error bar and failed to save. Users can now successfully update rates from the Run Rates screen even when a dispute is open.
Commission Report
- Fixed an issue in the Commission Report and Scheduled Commission Report where the Customer Sales Rep column appeared blank despite a sales rep being assigned on the customer account.
Southeastern Freight Lines
- Fixed an issue where API calls to Southeastern Freight Lines (SEFL) only returned blank or generic Proof of Delivery (POD) documents instead of customer-signed PODs.
XPO Logistics
- Updated the XPO API rating payload builder to ensure available shipment dimensions (Length, Width, Height) are sent individually when partially populated, preventing the entire dimensions block from being omitted when a dimension (such as Height) is blank.
- For rating requests missing a required height value, the integration now appropriately returns the carrier's API error message directly (Height for item #1 should be greater than zero...) to ensure clear feedback on invalid inputs.
Email Quote Two Decimal Places
- Resolved an issue where quote documents generated from the Email Quotes modal defaulted to 4 decimal places for charges. Quote documents now properly respect the 2-decimal formatting configuration unless specifically configured otherwise via global default.
